The Parent-Teacher Partnership, or PTP for short, is a non-profit (501c3) organization that is made up of CYC family members, CYC teachers, and CYC staff, that exists (separately from the CYC and Ë¿¹Ïapp) for the benefit of both the CYC and its families, children, and faculty/staff.

The PTP is a very important part of the success of the CYC, and therefore the success of our faculty and the children who attend. The PTP hosts a number of annual fundraisers to raise money to support activities at the CYC - including teacher appreciation events (lunches, monthly treats), gifts to support CYC operations (like our classroom air filters and outdoor blocks), and CYC community events designed to bring families and teachers together to build relationships.

Participating in PTP events gives you as a parent/family member face-to-face time with other families and CYC teachers and administration. This time fosters stronger relationships, and better communication, which are vital to the CYC. One of the goals is to help you as families feel valued as members of our community.

As you may have guessed, the work of the PTP requires your help! Our PTP has several vital parent/family-held positions, including President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. There are also committees for various fundraising events and other initiatives. Every spring and fall, the PTP's Board of Directors sends out a call for nominations for these important PTP positions. 

We have open positions for the 2024-2025 school year!
